The word Panchpandava is used to refer to five famous poets of Bengali literature who were brighter than others in their glory. There are five such cricketers in the Bangladesh cricket team - Shakib Al Hasan, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad.

2. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is a Bangladeshi international cricketer and politician who is the former captain in all three formats of the game for the Bangladesh national cricket team.
3. Tamim Iqbal
Tamim Iqbal Khan, more popularly known as Tamim Iqbal, is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He is currently the captain of the Bangladesh national team in One Day Internationals. Tamim made his ODI debut in 2007 and played his first Test match the following year.
4. Mushfiqur Rahim
Mushfiqur Rahim (Bengali: মুশফিকুর রহিম; born 9 May 1987) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain and vice-captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is considered as the best and most successful captain of Bangladesh in tests.
5. Mahmudullah Riyad
Mohammad Mahmudullah, also known as Riyad, is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the current T20I captain. He has played First-class and List A cricket for Dhaka Division and has represented Bangladesh in all forms of the game. An all-rounder, he is a lower or middle-order batsman as well as an off spin bowler.
